svängrum
My series "Svängrum" from 2018.
Svängrum [eng. tr. elbow room; space; direct tr. swinging/swing room]
The series is about space, poetic quality and movement.
Space: The space in the photos as well as in the physical room when exhibited — space as living, living space. Poetic quality: the ambiguous, the magical — inviting the observer in. Movement: even though the images are quiet, almost still lives there is some sort of movement going on — a movement of thought, a breath of the things depicted, a fold(ing).
The series was exhibited at Muro Gallery in Stockholm, Sweden between October 11 & November 5, 2018.
You can check out some photos from the exhibition here (soon).
The edition is 4+1 AP.
Size is 34,5x23cm (~13,5x9 inches).
The photos are printed on fine art archive quality cotton paper (Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta).
And all of them were shot on a Nikon F3 or FE2 on Kodak Tri-X, Cinestill 50D or 800T, and expired Fujicolor Press 800, in 2016-18.
