A vertical abstract drawing on yellowed paper, made from dense clusters of short, intersecting dark pencil lines. The marks form branching, angular structures with large areas of empty paper above them. Small groups of red strokes appear near the lower centre.
A black-and-white abstract drawing on aged paper. Thick rectangular black shapes and narrow vertical stripes occupy the lower half, while the upper half is filled with overlapping loops, oval forms and fine curving lines.
An abstract black ink drawing on white paper. Hundreds of dots form loose, swirling clusters around several solid black circles and ovals. Long straight lines radiate from some of the dark shapes, while concentric rings appear near the bottom.
A horizontal abstract composition formed from densely packed black dots on white paper. Rounded, overlapping shapes, spirals and pointed geometric forms merge into a single irregular mass, with varying dot sizes creating areas of light and shadow.
A horizontal abstract composition on warm yellowed paper. Dense black stippling forms overlapping rounded shapes, angular extensions and curved projections. The concentration of dots varies across the image, creating contrasting areas of darkness and transparency.
A horizontal abstract composition made from thousands of black dots on cream-coloured paper. Overlapping pointed, rounded and ribbon-like shapes extend across the page, with darker clusters of stippling concentrated near the centre and lower edge.
An abstract composition of red and black circular forms against an irregular wash of muted brown, ochre and pink. A large black disc surrounded by a red dotted ring dominates the left side, while smaller circles and branching red stippled shapes occupy the right.
An abstract composition on a mottled brown and ochre background. Red circular bands, black stippled forms and tangled looping lines overlap across the page. A dark rectangular block anchors the lower left, while a segmented circular shape appears on the right.
A vertical abstract composition divided into two contrasting areas. A large painted red circle sits against a marbled grey-and-white background above. Below, closely spaced horizontal red and black lines extend across the pale paper in broken, uneven bands.
An open sketchbook spread with warm orange washes across both pages. Intertwined tubular shapes are drawn in closely spaced red and dark curved lines, forming two dense, branching structures that extend towards the central fold.
A horizontal collage spanning an open sketchbook. Black-and-white photographic fragments of trees, vegetation, objects and printed patterns overlap with irregular spotted shapes. A large diagonal fragment of a colour photograph covers much of the right-hand page.
A vertical abstract sketchbook composition in muted green, brown and rust. Elongated translucent shapes and dark branching stains occupy the upper section. A visible stitched seam separates them from a broad olive-green wash below, containing a small red shape.
A vertical abstract composition of layered orange, yellow, pink and grey washes. Broad horizontal shapes fill the upper section, while the lower section is densely covered with irregular black contour lines tracing the edges of overlapping colour fields.
A vertical abstract composition dominated by orange, pink and black. Large pale pink rectangular shapes interrupt a dense network of thin black contour lines and orange washes. Several solid black blocks create strong contrasts across the page.
An open sketchbook photographed vertically. The upper page contains a dark photographic or printed image of a four-legged animal-like figure in vivid pink and white against black. The lower page is covered with layered yellow, orange and pale pink washes, faint handwriting and irregular marks.
An open sketchbook spread with overlapping orange, crimson and black painted blocks. Dense clusters of tiny handwritten marks and fine lines cross the colour fields, with arrows and radiating lines connecting forms across the central fold.
An open sketchbook spread with large areas of white paper. On the left, a broad circular ring is formed from dense, small black marks, partly overlapped by an ochre-coloured shape. On the right, elongated red and purple brushstrokes intersect with orange washes, clusters of fine marks and handwritten notes. Thin lines connect elements across the two pages.
A vertical abstract composition built from overlapping layers of paint and translucent paper strips. A large, roughly circular crimson shape dominates the upper half, crossed by dark horizontal bands and irregular brushstrokes. Below, pale grey and white strips partly conceal layered areas of pink, red, orange and black, with thin dark lines extending downward from the central forms.
