Slow

Slow, which is the working title for now, grew out of working with the panoramic Widelux camera, and in particular its 1/15-second shutter speed. I became interested in the way the camera captures time, not simply as a frozen instant, but as something that unfolds across the frame.

Started in early 2026, Slow is an ongoing project that may eventually bring together photography, collage and perhaps text. It includes images going as far back as 2014 and up to the present.

It is at the moment an artist book in the making.

The following images document spreads from a hand-bound artist's book. Black-and-white and occasional colour photographs are attached to cream-coloured pages with masking tape. Some spreads contain one photograph, others two.
